This morning, I slept in, then rang up Britt and had my weekly chat to her on the phone. After getting off the phone, I headed over to the North Shore, to pick up my sexy new Bosch Dryer! Then I thought, what the hell... Ill go see, if anybody has done anything to my house today! On arriving in our street, I could see from a distance that something was happening.....
I decided that seeing as something had been done, that I would take my usual panoramic shot of the house that gets posted onto my facebook for everyone to see, and then I thought I would go have a cuppa in the shed, before heading "home". I come across this guy in the driveway, who stops me in my tracks, and says "Are you the owner" and I was like, "Yes I am" so he asks me if I have the key to the shed.... ummmm yes of course I do.... He was there to install the pump today... good thing the House builders told me to go up there today..... OHHHhhhhh thats right... they didnt!!!! >:| SO... good thing I got there when I did, to let the plumber in to put the pump in the shed! The plumber also hooked up the water tank to the water pump, and then put in a tap for the brickies to use! SO... here are all the pics of the pump and piping for the water!
I also had a peek into one of the Water Tanks, and got to see that one of the tanks was nearly full up to about a metre from the top.
We have water!!! The pressure from the little pump is awesome!!! :)
The Roof tilers were there and they had finished putting the timber on the roof for all the tiles. The guys then set up the conveyor belt to put the tiles up onto the Roof.
Here is a pic of the first two tiles going up on the roof. :)
These guys are pretty handy with their juggling of roof tiles as well!
And then there is the young fella at the bottom, who can load them onto the conveyor belt pretty fast as well!
I had also noticed, that the grass is definitely a lot greener, and even the bank at the back of the house, is growing some grass! YAY!
As it has also been rather WINDY up on our block of late, I also had to go on another rubbish run around the bottom of the block, so took some pictures....
I then headed "home" to try out my sexy new Bosch Dryer...and what an awesome dryer it is!! :)
SOOOooooo a pretty big and busy day for me, who was intending on spending the day just picking up her dryer, taking a pic or two of the roof tiles, and then heading home for lunch! Didnt happen that way, but, at least it wasnt a totally wasted day :)

LAME!
I went up the block today, and what a big waste of my time, do ya think I saw ONE tile on the roof... NUP! I was up there at 1pm, and all they seem to have managed to do is put the big long bits of timber along the side of the house, not even worth taking a photo of, it was such a disappointment! And them buggers, were having lunch... not like they needed a break, as it looked like they had been having a break all morning!!! >:|

Happy Mother's Day
Firstly, Happy Mothers Day to all the beautiful Mothers out there! I hope you had an awesome day today! I know that I did, even though I did not have my wonderful girls with me, they mean the world to me, and I got to speak to both of them, so that made my day even more wonderful! :)
Mike and I went up to Waimauku this morning to have Breaky at one of our favourite cafe's. We then headed to Waitakere Trust Stadium for the Home Show! We got some more ideas for the house and property! We then drove over to the shore, and bought ourselves a new Bosch Dryer as seen below I pick it up either tomorrow or on Tuesday, so I am really looking forward to picking that up and having a play with it! :D
Mike and I then went to the HOLE, to pick up the rest of our rubbish, and to take some plants up to the new house :) We pulled out our Rosemary from the garden and replanted it up behind the shed. The ground was hard as anything and even with me jumping on the shovel I still couldn't dig a very good hole :( BUT, we planted it anyway. SO... here are some silly pics of us planting the rosemary, the first thing we have planted on our property! :) ^ This is Mike, pretending he is a really old man!!!
After we planted the Rosemary, Mike went down the bottom part of the block and picked up some rubbish of ours that had blown away from near the shed :|

Exhausting day....
today... we had to go back to that house we rented to clean up... and we were there for like 7 hours finishing off the gardens.... so we are exhausted tonight and chilling in front of the tv, Mike has a glass of wine, and I am drinking some southern comfort and coke! Its nice to sit back and relax :)
We also managed to drop by the block - fancy that!! :D We noticed that they had dropped off more Roof Tiles around the house! SO.... here are the photos! ... as you can see, we are also greening up at the block!! :) YAY!
I also did a little trick with my car! There is something about me and destroying the exhaust pipe! I dumped some rubbish up the block, and reversed back a liddle bit too far... and whoops... got some clay stuck up the exhaust.... I had to get a big long stick, and gouge out the clay, not such a fun job, let me tell you!... I dont recommend that you play this game at home.... so here are the exciting pics of the hole I made in the clay, and the clay extricated from the exhaust pipe...... uhhhh whooooppsss.. :D
Anyway..... I am back to relaxing!!!! :)

Moving.... and the house!
Hey everyone, its been nearly a week between posts, I have been very busy moving... what a joyous occasion that has been... not! *whinge whinge whinge*
SOoooo... what has been happening at the house.. quite a bit! We went there on Saturday to find that they had put up the paper around the house. They had also put up planks around the house.
On Monday, I went back again, there were only two builders there finishing off the last parts of the roof trusses and the paper around the house.
I had a bit of a wander through the house again, and noticed that the view out our lounge room window, is going to be stunning!
On this particular day, it was clear enough to see out to the Tasman Sea.
I headed out through the "laundry" to the back of the shed, towards the water tanks, and this is the hole for where the sewer is going to be.
I headed up to the block yesterday, to find the guttering guy up there, and he was attaching the fascia to the house. I had a bit of a chat to the fella, and he was a bit cheeky and told me that Lignite, was the colour that chocolate lovers choose.... hmmmm! Who dobbed me in?????
The Entry way is looking kinda cool!
I left the block for a while and came back (for a snoozer! lol), and I noticed that the front area of the house had been ripped up..... awesome.. :| The guttering bloke told me a truck came and delivered some silver thingys into the garage, and got bogged... the tool left all the planks dug into the ground from his truck... and I aint digging them out! Nope! No Sireeeee!
On heading up there today, the guy had started putting up some of the guttering. He should be finished the guttering tomorrow.
Roof Tiles are being delivered on Friday, and they will start going up on Monday! So hopefully by the end of next week, you will all get to see an awesome roof! We are not having regular tiles, we are having flat type tiles on the roof, so hopefully it will look kinda cool!! :)
Until next time...... xxx
